Some truths about Life and God

  • Troubled person only waits for peace and ananda. God is not engaged in giving ananda to one and dukha to other.
  • It does't matter with ignorance but one has to pay heavy price with pretension of knowledge.
  • Desire gives rise to fear also. Both desire and fear are enemies of happiness.
  • It's true that grace of God is essential for dyana but sadhana is quite essential.
  • Moksha is only living with peace and nirvikara.
  • Experience of soul is not possible without continuous consciousness of it.
  • You and me a mere concept, without that where is HE.
  • For dark and gloomy night of ignorance soul searching itself is Sunrise.
  • There is no greater ornament than 'vinayam'.
  • When we can't accept the shortfalls, we can't remain friends also.
  • Default is a deep sea. We are not aware of its depth. Even a small lapse also results in heavy loss.
  • We have to tell about our good and bad to others. If we tell only good and conceal bad, then our fortune account remains with debit balance only.

Subtlety and Eternity

God exists in subtlety and eternity unlike in physical forms but standing as force to his creation.
The entire living being existed in past ans present with actions responsible for present odd nature.
We understand subtlety as our unknown power of comprehension or consciousness.
We misunderstand eternity exists away from us, but it is our part exists permanently.

Sharing:

Three things I found for sharing among fellow beings and they are Food, Knowledge and Love. Guru Ramana used to share the available food with him in equal parts among all his associates. Some times they used to get very little food in making it equal. They used to satisfy with that little food but they enjoyed the equality with Ramana. Since food is considered as parabrahma swaroopa itself fellow beings who share equally are very great and sharing the same gives so much of joy among the shared. But available food is limited with us and we can share it very less. We are not able to share it like Guru Ramana. However, we serve food to our visitors. I hope that is different.

Next available thing is Knowledge. Knowledge is some thing invisible equal to divinity in its limitlessness and fellow beings acquire and discern it in typical styles and fashions. It can be shared and the sharers have bounden obligation to respect the knowledge of others and then only sharing is possible and the purpose of sharing is avoiding ego and the said purpose is served among the sharers of knowledge.

Love is simple, pure and divine and visible in mental plane alone certainly. Love is natural. It appears in all living beings humans or animals. Without love there is no creation at all as I believe. Love beyond bodily urge alone is counted here. No knowledge is necessary to hold it. Fortunate are those who love others and be loved by others. Love cannot be defined easily. It is not expensive like food and knowledge. Fellow beings have to spend and drive away their ego only to acquire it or share it.

Sharing, Food or knowledge or love the precondition is broad-mind, outlook and attitude.

Breathing, Thought & the Mind

Our breathing is involuntary. It runs in sleep also without any effort. Thought is voluntary. In sleep one has no thought. The thought occurs to mind is known to every one. But the origin of the thought certainly is prana (life) which is at breathing. Without breathing there is no thought. One may check and test it by stopping breathing. If breathing is stopped / pressed down with control for some time, then it can be observed that the thought is arrested. The Prana (life) then struggles to sustain. The immediate task of body with prana (life) is to open up the breathing. Meanwhile the thought comes to stand still. Every human has perceived it that prana (life) and thought have a link. We have link with earth and pancha bhoothas (five earthly forces). Similarly our senses have connection and link with the five bhoothas.

So, if voluntary thought is allowed to run with involuntary breathing freely without any limitation and control, the thought is corrupted and becomes deceitful too. The body has no ‘I’ sense (it is jada). Mind alone has the idea of ‘I’ sense. The grown up thought (feeling) with the strength of breathing air enters into the mind. The original form of mind is very pure. Take the case of a new born baby for instance. The baby won’t have any aims or intentions except the natural urge to satisfy its thrust and hunger. The grown up is not like that, with his uncontrolled feelings and thought in his mind, he is already influenced by some thing unwanted in the world. Irregular & undisciplined thought process spoils the mind and career and livelihood of humans.

From thought and with badly influenced mind the actions result and the body get odd commands to spoil the personality. So the origin of breathing and its flow to be observed and its linking point with thought is to be sealed first. To run the breathing independently without any unwanted and harming thought is quite necessary for a healthy mind. We wash our hands to handle food. Like that the breathing to be kept very clean without being spoiled by any thing else for better living, not only from bad odor, but also, from bad thought and bad information. We keep a security guard to check an unwanted guy from entering the office building. In our mind also an element is there to watch all the on going affairs from breathing point up to the mind point. Such an element to be activated always so that it keeps like a guard, an eye over every thing just like a hidden camera to find the movement of odds within. Humans have to brighten their inside system to check the mind from being influenced and swayed away by some thing strange to their career. The correct form of breathing is ‘ooooommkara’ which nourishes the mind and protects its original purity. The result must.. every good that happen. For those who meditate.. the above may be useful. ‘Atma vichara’ is quite essential for humans which help to reach the soul.

Note:- The message does not mean coming to office in saffron dresses with 'T' shaped arm rests (kamandalas) and sit and earn without any thought and work. We don't tolerate such things.

Aare deepam

Aare deepam : What is life? What is life in a light? Why an oil lamp before god glows more or flashes high and illuminates at the end.

One person (friend of mine) very busily engaged during his hay days and later with moderate earning, gave up his work and settled like me in a region somewhere usually people does not understand. I asked that man like this, “During your age you never folded your hands, never talked about god, never lighted up a lamp before god, never uttered any sthotras and now you started all these things… why are you doing all now?” For that he replied, “True, I never thought of god before and now, I wanted to complete that work also which I never attempted so far and neglected.” His reply was like that. really he is pursuing the last work also with vigour. Life really wants to complete all its energies just like a cotton thread in a lamp before god burns to consume and exhaust all of its oil completely and at the end it glows more just like praying god some thing unknown vigorously. People also knowingly or unknowingly are attracted towards spirituality at the end and illuminate more just like deepam glowing more and high at the end. For what is life - you can take it as oil in the form of energy in a burning lamp and god bestowed chaitanya in the beings. The illumination can be seen also in flourishing, prospering beings. That flashing turns towards god and glows more at the end.

Fighting against the things

True it is, fighting against the things which one will not like in life.. that attitude increase and continue and launches one in a sea of fighting the things. One realise it that there is no system with him to switch off the emotional fighting except withdrawing the energy and focus on that worrying emotion and its movement. Agonising over some emotional things is actually breathing into it and giving life to it for continuation of that unwanted fighting. One needs relief from this emotional fighting. But unawareness (maya) that envelops the mind. But indulgence of that mind takes away all the energy and good time of it. Ultimately the essential air of life is taken away with the emotions. One to decide and determine to give up and observe it evaporates naturally and disappears from the mind. For this deep immersion into the feeling of god and unbroken identity with him giving up the thought of body sense alone is required. The mind is to be diverted from the emotional feelings. It is true that the funny emotional feelings always over cloud the good spirit. It is to put the mind in right path and order it from emotions. The mind alone is the medium and place where cause - motion takes birth. One has to take care of his mind even before his body

Paravasam Dukham, Atmavasam Sukham

Krishnanda quoted Manu Smriti as: paravasam dukham, atmavasam sukham. Dependence is sorrow and independence is Joy. Humanity has its limitations & conditions and humans are born with diseases called sentiments and emotions etc., etc., If one think broadly all these relations are temporary... in the words of Krishnananda, some logs of wood on floating surface of water come together due to many factors in a river. But they do not go forever together. One has to see the relations in a particularly way i.e. the beings are present here in a perpetuity and flow of creation of god. That is indeed a great out look. Each and every word of Krishnanda is important. Knowing theory is not sufficient in my view. One has to import the meaning and essence of art of living with spirituality into mind also and has to implement it forthwith as per the advice and instructions of spiritual heads.
